Capcom Reveals Contents Of Upcoming DLC For 'Resident Evil 7'

You won't be required to buy both Xbox One and PC copies of Resident Evil 7 if you're the kind of person that usually games on two devices intermittently. PewDiePie kinda kickstarted the fascination of watching fully-functioning adults screaming on the Internet to terrifying video games, but it looks like no one was ready for Resident Evil 7. This means that the first DLC called "Banned Footage Volume 1" will be released on the PlayStation 4 first, but will be released to the other plaftorms on a later date.

The first Resident Evil DLC pack is reported to bring treats such as the Bedroom, where the players think of a way to escape from a locked room and the Nightmare, wherein hordes of enemies should be stopped until morning as players craft useful items and traps in order to survive.

ThisGenGaming also revealed that the patch notes for the Day One patch include supports add-ons, additional trophies, notifications for future additional game chapters, as well as several fixes for specific bugs and issues. A dominant part of players of Resident Evil 7 are as yet still playing the base game. The DLC will also be added a new mode called Ethan Must Die, described to be a "tough-as-nails" mode that should be quite a challenge for players. "Banned Footage Vol. 1" will reportedly include two new "Banned Footage" scenarios to play through. One will launch at the end of January and one will launch in February before they'll both be available on other platforms later in February.

"Resident Evil 7" starts off creepy and utilizes a much-appreciated slow burn before the action really ramps up. 21 will force you to participate in an elaborate game run by Lucas Baker, while Daughters offers a peek into the life of the Baker family during a simpler time.

"Banned Footage Volume 2" features the mode called "Jack's 55th Birthday" and is available starting February 14.
