Arsenal fans won't want to read the latest Alexis Sanchez report

After the week that they've had, this is not what Arsenal needed as Chilean fans are organising a march to convince Alexis Sanchez to leave.

Supporters of the worldwide star, who are fed up at seeing him carry an Arsenal side 10 points off the pace in the Premier League and 5-1 down after the first leg of their Champions League last-16 match, are organising a protest march in order to help force his departure.

Capping off a disastrous 24 hours for Arsenal, star forward Alexis Sanchez may have just given the biggest hint yet that he could leave the club in the summer.

A statement on the group's Facebook page reads: "We, as Chileans, are exhausted to watch one of our biggest stars play on his own to make his team get through".

Alexis has been in talks over a contract extension (current deal expires in June 2018) since the start of the campaign, and it now appears that he could end his association at the Emirates in the summer following what was a discouraging result in Munich.

This week's 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League only exacerbated the problem and pushed it straight to the fore.

Arsenal travel to Sutton for the FA Cup fifth round next, in what can reasonably be described as their last remaining chance of a trophy this season.

Reports in the Daily Mirror suggest that the Chile worldwide will leave Arsenal at the end of the season after stalling on a new contract with the Gunners.

The 28-year-old has been concerned about Arsene Wenger's future and wanted clarifications over the Frenchman's plans before committing to the Gunners.

Much has been made of the future of Wenger, who has divided Arsenal fans in recent years.
