Because of Cleavage, Woman Was Kicked Off a Spirit Airlines Plane

Spirit said the woman was rebooked on another flight, and that they planned on contacting her to discuss the matter.

However the woman's mum Donna Prieto said her daughter was "humiliated" by the ordeal.

However, Berry's version of events is being disputed by at least two of the other passengers on the flight, including Cathy Supp, who also spoke with Local 10 News. I was really embarrassed, ' the woman told ABC 10.

But Spirit Airlines claims nobody was booted from any of their flights due to overt cleavage, and that the passenger in question had been drinking and acting out of order prior to takeoff.

"Nobody was taken off a plane because of cleavage", Berry said. Lauderdale when a flight attendant told her to cover up.

The woman, and a witness who said she was in a nearby seat, say it was because her shirt showed too much cleavage.

The airline maintains that the incident was a safety issue and that the flight attendants had the right to kick all three passengers off the plane.

Spirit spokesman Paul Berry refuted the accusations, claiming that the woman was asked to leave because she was intoxicated. "Granted she was well endowed and wearing a lowcut top, but she was covered", Supp wrote.

Supp went on to explain that both she and the woman were ejected from the plane after she came to her defense.

The airline said the woman was intoxicated and causing problems and passengers were complaining.

On Facebook, Supp posted that "there were no nuns or Muslims on board and no one could see her in the center seat unless they tried anyway". You're gonna have to do something to cover them up. "People are taken off of planes due to their behavior", and, "The flight attendant made that decision, and as she was leaving, she said, 'By the way, you might want to cover up.' It was more of a personal statement to her". Furthermore, she wrote that the girl and her companion assured the attendants that they were not at all drunk and would be fine.

The 21-year-old woman, her friend and another passenger were all asked to leave the plane following the exchange.
