Lisa Marie Presley's ex has spousal support request denied

News, Presley recently filed legal documents against her ex opposing his request to have her pay spousal support and legal fees following their 2016 divorce proceedings.

During the hearing, Presley was ordered to pay $50,000 in legal fees to her ex, who she has accused of sexual misconduct. Presley asked the court to deny Lockwood's request for $40,000 per month in spousal support and $100,000 in attorney fees.

After the court ruling, "Extra" caught up with Lisa Marie's lawyer, who said, "The judge made some interesting decisions".

I guess, first of all, Presley is the breadwinner in the relationship thanks to her daddy Elvis Presley and her fat inheritance check each month.

Lockwood is challenging the validity of an agreement he signed after marrying Presley in 2006 that would govern how much he is entitled to in a divorce.

Yet, Presley claims she's also broke.

"Her average annual earring is $5.6 million (£4.5m) per year", Sturman said.

Sturman said Presley's earnings were nearly entirely from an Elvis Presley trust fund and she was trying to "bulldoze" her estranged husband "into submission". The courts have yet to decide how the couple's money should be divided so, in that sense, I suppose it makes sense that Presley would front her husband's bills, since he's, well, broke as shit without her and doesn't have a job. She said she owns a home in England that's worth less than what she owes on it, and has made no money as a musician herself.

In court papers filed last week she said the couple's daughters were taken into the care of the department of children and family services in Los Angeles.

Lockwood has denied any wrongdoing and branded Presley's claims "highly sensational, inaccurate and unproven".

Presley's lawyers argued that Lockwood could look for work, but has failed to do so.

Gross contended that Lockwood hasn't been looking for work and should apply to be a music teacher or work at Guitar Center.

Presley said there is a children's court trial scheduled for March related to her discovery of photos and "disturbing" video on her husband's computer.
