PewDiePie's 'Anti-Semitic Video' is Still on His YouTube Channel

Prior to YouTube's move, Disney-owned Maker Studios also confirmed that it was severing its ties with PewDiePie after an investigation turned up a number of videos featuring Nazi imagery or anti-Semitic jokes.

Hours after Disney announced they would no longer be affiliated with PewDiePie (AKA Felix Kjellberg), YouTube announced that they had cancelled his show and removed him from its premium advertising program.

PewDiePie's videos have been scrapped from Google Preferred, thus preventing their further monetization, on the ground that they are in violation of YouTube's "advertiser-friendly content guidelines". "Although Felix has created a following by being provocative and irreverent, he clearly went too far in this case and the resulting videos are inappropriate". The setback should affect his earnings and as well as YouTube's since its YouTube Red service leans on stars such as PewDiePie to win subscribers who are willing to pay $10 (P499) a month.
