Reporter Finds Out He's Interviewing Adrian Peterson…During Interview

The running back was released Tuesday, so there would have been plenty of football-related stuff to talk about (though we don't know exactly when the interview was conducted).

This past Wednesday, John Donnelly of Fox 26 out of Houston interviewed the 31-year-old veteran about road rage.

"Here I am interviewing people on the street and not realizing I'd stopped a celebrity", Donnelly wrote on his Facebook page.

How about if you were a reporter interviewing him for a story about road rage?

After a brief pause, Donnelly asked: "Wait a minute, you're not". "I'm even more of a fan now!" NY is said to be the most probable option for Peterson, as Giants coach Ben McAdoo recently told reporters that the team "will take a look at him" and assess the possibility of signing him this offseason. The Press-Gazette removed the paragraph Thursday night and apologized to readers.

Peterson, whose recent seasons have been disrupted by injury and suspension, said he was still open to a new contract with the Vikings.
