Campbell's recall chicken soup product

Campbell's recall chicken soup product

No illnesses have been reported, but the FDA says the mislabeling can cause health issues due to milk, a known allergen, in the product.

The reason for the recall was discovered when consumer complaints were called into the Campbell Soup Company corporate office regarding the product.

"In an abundance of caution, Campbell is retrieving the product from the market", the company said.

The recalled items were shipped to multiple retail locations in Florida.

According to the Inspection and Food Safety division of US Department of Agriculture, there have been no reports of reactions of adverse sorts, which have been confirmed yet.

The cans were labeled as 'Homestyle Healthy Request chicken with whole grain pasta, ' but instead it contains a type of Italian-Style wedding soup, with spinach and meatballs in chicken broth.

Campbell's, an American producer of canned soups and related products, is based in Camden, N.J.

Consumers who have purchased the product should not eat it. Consumers should return the product to the store where the products were purchased for a full refund.

The recalled soup has the bear eastablishment number "EST".

There is also an establishment number "EST. 3R", which can be found written on the bottom of all these cans that weigh 18.6-oz. each.
