Lawyers want Aaron Hernandez's murder conviction dismissed

Lawyers want Aaron Hernandez's murder conviction dismissed

Hernandez hanged himself last week in prison while serving a life sentence for a 2013 murder.

He also Hernandez's longtime partner has been handling his death "better than expected".

Hernandez's lawyer Jose Baez, however, strongly denied the reports to TMZ Sports.

Audio recordings of the hearing and sidebar conference were obtained by The Courant Tuesday.

A judge ruled on Monday that the notes should be released to their recipients.

In other developments relating to Hernandez's suicide, the lawyer for Kyle Kennedy confirmed that his client, described by multiple law enforcement sources as the prison boyfriend of Hernandez, was the intended recipient of one of the three letters found in the cell where the one-time National Football League standout hanged himself.

Once a hometown hero, Amaya said, "he became a silence no one wanted to talk about". "There is not going to be a conviction because it can't be pursued in the court system".

They may never get to see the letter, though, considering a judge demanded that the three hand-written suicide notes be released to Hernandez's family yesterday, the same day of his funeral.

Hernandez's funeral was held Monday.

Blood was reportedly used to create an unfinished pyramid drawing and write the word "Illuminati" in all-capital letters on the wall of Hernandez's cell.

"We don't have the pictures of his forehead for example and whether this John 3:16 thing is true", Leontire said. "However, that is not the end of the investigation". He was charged in their murder and killed himself by jumping off a bridge. The case flamed racial tensions in Boston.

Officials reported that three letters were found in Hernandez's cell: one for his fiancee and one for his daughter.

In his most recent letter, Hernandez shared that he was enjoying reading - the two exchanged book recommendations - and playing chess, and that the days in prison "were flying by", Washington said.

"Hernndez's alleged longtime male lover, the high school friend, was interviewed extensively by authorities after [Odin Lloyd's] murder, and was forced to testify in front of a grand jury. They have a right to know that".

Superior Court Judge Thomas F. McGuire Jr. ordered Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.'s office to provide the notes to Hernandez's family after they redact any information they believe could impair any ongoing investigation into his death in the maximum security prison. The family wishes to say goodbye to Aaron in privacy.
