Samsung doubles Galaxy S8 supply, expects record sales

Samsung doubles Galaxy S8 supply, expects record sales

The Galaxy S8 will represent Samsung's biggest test following the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.

Another interesting feature Samsung has introduced with Galaxy S8 is the DeX Dock. Instead, Samsung is embedding a virtual home button in the display and moving the fingerprint sensor to the back.

One of the big changes arriving with iOS 10.3 is the Apple File System (APFS) that replaces the Hierarchical File System Apple has been using for more than 30 years. In the USA the phone is already available for pre-order from 30th March onwards.

This tool will fix most computer errors, protect you from file loss, malware, hardware failure and optimize your PC for maximum performance. Hall also predicted the next iPhone will see strong sales "driven by a strong feature upgrade and robust replacement demand". The iPhone 8 is late in doing this but it may have more tricks up its sleeve.

Can Samsung Slow Apple's Momentum? According to reports, the tech giant is reselling the recalled units outside the USA and the United Kingdom, mostly in Vietnam and India, and most possibly under the new name Note 7s. It doesn't look like they have, though it could just be down to the software being in an early, unreleased state - and maybe, just maybe it'll be fixed before the device goes on sale on April 21.

The news coincided with Apple's launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The South Korean smartphone giant is certainly in need of a win following last year's Galaxy Note 7 debacle. According to a previous report, the company aims to sell a total of 60 million combined Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ units, overshadowing the number of units accumulated by the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge run. However, the site added, "the impact of a healthy S8 reception on Apple will probably be limited".

In order for it to work well, it will be requiring apps to support larger displays.
