Babri Masjid Demolition Case: On April 6th, the supreme court said they might order the two set of cases jointly from Raebareli to Lucknow court. The Congress today said the law of the land should prevail in the Masjid demolition case and the guilty should be punished.

The national secretary also demanded Union Minister Uma Bharti to quit her post taking note of the ruling "Kalyan Singh enjoys constitutional protection for his gubernatorial capacity".

The apex court verdict was on a CBI plea challenging the Allahabad High Court order quashing the conspiracy charge against Advani and others.

Many campaigns held and there was also voice raising speeches by BJP leaders to build a temple for Rama.
