Canadian Woman's Cutout of Spicer in Bush Gets Attention

Guilfoyle, who is a co-host on Fox News Channel's "The Five", told the San Jose Mercury News she has had conversations with the administration about joining the White House's communications team.

That's clear from this chart, which compares Spicer's time on the job to the five shortest stints as press secretary, and the tenure of the first press secretary for each of Trump's three predecessors.

"Sean Spicer is a very nice man and a patriot", she said.

Now, with rumors boiling in Washington, D.C., about a broad shakeup to Trump's press team following a drumbeat of controversies, Guilfoyle's name has resurfaced.

Guilfoyle's comments came days after the New York Times reported that the president had suggested her as a possible recruit for the job.

She shared this in an interview with the Bay Area News Group on Monday.

"I do feel sorry for the guy, and I think a lot of people have picked up on that". It's a challenging job, and you need someone really determined and focused.

In an interview with "Fox & Friends", Trump gave his administration an A- for effort and a "C" or "C+" for communicating.

The 30th White House Press Secretary carried out Navy Reserve duty, where he has served as a commander for nearly twenty years, during his time off from the daily press briefings.

TRUMP: Well, he's been there from the beginning. The White House reeled on Tuesday from a messy 24 hours, bombshell scoops lifting serious questions about President Trump's behavior in the Oval Office, the administration and its surrogates that settled on a direct message: Blame the press. The point is this: "When we have those press conferences, I've actually said we shouldn't have them". She was a contender for the job before it went to Spicer in December, with chief strategist Steve Bannon reportedly pitching her to Trump.

Guilfoyle said on Fox News last week that there was 'room for improvement with the rollout'.

Kadonaga posted a photo of her cutouts on Facebook, which quickly went viral.

Kadonaga made a decision to have a bit of fun with the image herself and uploaded her idea, with photos, to her Facebook friends. After receiving hundreds of requests for the Spicer image, she uploaded it to the file hosting service, spurring so much traffic that the overwhelmed site temporarily shut down her account, CBC News reported.

"I think it really struck a chord with people, realizing, 'gee, that could be me up there, '" she said. She tells the Merc, "Life is exciting and it's about different chapters in your life, so I'm excited about the future".
