Facebook's Zuckerberg posts throwback video of getting accepted into Harvard

Zuckerberg, who dropped out of university during his sophomore year, will deliver the commencement speech to this year's graduates on May 25.

Facebook founder Mark Zucerkerberg went down the memory lane and in a throwback Thursday post, shared a video of the moment when he got his acceptance letter from Harvard.

Wearing a grey T-shirt (you've got to be kidding) and what appear to be plaid pajamas bottoms, Zuckerberg announced the good news with an emotionless "Yay..." Seriously, even his dad seemed more excited at the sight of an email from Harvard University! The video has now gone viral with 3.5 million views in less than 15 hours since it was uploaded.

Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg has uploaded a rare insight into his life before he became one of the wealthiest human beings on the planet.

"Very roundabout way to avoid Harvard's core curriculum requirements", one person joked, referencing Zuckerberg's ability to leave the school but then come back and get a free degree. But that changes next week when he is scheduled to speak at Harvard's commencement and where he said he will receive his degree.

To which Zuckerberg replied, "That was definitely not my plan. Now I suppose the cycle is complete", he posted.
