French President shows game side to support Paris Olympics 2024

Los Angeles is the home for two new National Football League teams and the LA 2024 Opening Ceremony is planned to be held at their home stadium. LA 2024' s Games Plan is created to ensure all sports are able to tap into America' s 250-billion US dollars sports market.

Each event will aim to demonstrate why the plan of Los Angeles 2024 is "not only aligned with Olympic Agenda 2020, but will help the IOC make tangible progress in its mission to safeguard the uniqueness of the Olympic Games and strengthen sport in society".

"Paris 2024 is a project supported by the whole of France", said Macron.

Los Angeles is known for its diverse culture, rich sports history and attractive weather and would be the ideal location for the Olympics and Paralympics.

Intel's role in advancing the Olympic Games experience will get its first run at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

"I wish success to everyone associated with the effort to bring the Games back to Los Angeles", he added.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell also expressed his enthusiastic support for Los Angeles, "Los Angeles is a legendary sports town".

"MLS is proud to support Los Angeles' bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games". When you combine that legacy with the grandeur of Hollywood and leading tech companies along its shores, Los Angeles is in the best position to produce a state-of-the art Olympic and Paralympic Games.

"This is a great opportunity for us to give a taster of what the games will be like here in 2024", Estanguet said.

Olympics 2024: With Los Angeles and Paris locked in a close race, Olympic leaders have indicated their prefernce to name two winners by giving 2024 to one city and 2028 to the other. The IOC's main meeting in Lima on September 13 will then vote on the host for both editions.
