Serena and Venus Williams' dad files for divorce from younger wife

Serena and Venus Williams' dad files for divorce from younger wife

The petition said Lakeisha Williams had worked as a license nurse's assistant and that "neither party is entitled to alimony". He said Richard William's petition is "outrageous".

He was previously married to Betty Johnson, and Oracene Price - the mother of tennis champs Venus and Serena, whom he divorced in 2002.

DailyMail.com called Serena and a woman claiming to be one of her assistants picked up her cell phone and promised to leave a message for Serena to comment.

Lawyers for Richard Williams did not immediately return calls Wednesday. And he is accusing her of robbing him blind!

Richard says his wife abandoned the marital home in August 2016 and left Dylan in his exclusive care.

The document adds she allegedly lives with an unsavory character in an atmosphere that's not conducive to raising a child.

An attorney for Lakeisha Williams denied Richard Williams' claims.

In the documents he filed, he claimed that Lakeisha forged his signature, transferred one of his houses to her name, stole his cars, guns and his cheques.

Lakeisha, 38, claimed in the legal filing that she asked her husband, 75, to remove the weapons from their home, but she ended up doing it herself after he declined.

Until recently, Richard Williams and his young family were permanent fixtures courtside whenever Serena, who's pregnant with her first child, and Venus played in big tournaments in London, Paris and Melbourne.

Serena Williams and her fiancee, Reddit co-founder Alex Ohanian, are expecting their first child, but that's not stopping her from getting in some reps on the tennis court.

This will be Richard's third divorce when finalised.
