Sony fires at Xbox with arsenal of big PS4 games

This is true as the Xbox One X does feature a customized AMD graphics capable of 6 teraflops of performance alongside 12GB of GDDR5 RAM.

After several months of rumors and speculations, Microsoft finally announced key details of its upcoming Project Scorpio console.

The long awaited Project SCORPIO by Microsoft was revealed in the main event for gamers E3 2017 just after the price drop of Xbox One S.

The console will also be immediately compatible with all existing Xbox One games. Microsoft says that all the extra muscle will allow for mostly native 4K games, and many able to run at 60 frames per second, as well - like Forza Motorsport 7. The PS4 Pro, which hit the market late a year ago, became the first available "4K" gaming console and helped to solidify Sony's lead in the current generation console race.

During the Microsoft E3 briefing last Sunday, the gaming giant unveiled the console's official name: Xbox One X. Moreover, they also revealed its official launch date scheduled on November 7.

The Sony Playstation preview area prior to the company's news conference to kick-off their products at E3 2017 in Los Angeles June 12, 2017. Both Sony and Microsoft have now released two new versions of their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles in the previous year, presumably in an effort to continue driving sales even when new, generation-defining hardware isn't quite ready. We won't know for certain how well it compares with the Sony's machine until November, when the Xbox One X will be released. Unlike the Xbox One S, the Xbox One X will come in black - although it looks very like the white console in shape and design, as you can see above.

One of the biggest advantages Xbox One has over the PlayStation 4 is backward compatibility. Most titles announced so far are "launch" exclusives, which means they will launch on the Xbox One before expanding to the PS4.

There are no new features on Xbox One X, just better load times, image quality, and processing power. The tech giant claims that gaming experience will be much better on the console as it has been designed "around today's cutting-edge engines and the blockbuster titles you already love".
