Donald Trump expects a powerful trade deal with the UK

Donald Trump expects a powerful trade deal with the UK

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met his US counterpart Donald Trump Saturday on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, Anadolu reported.

Challenged on why she had not used her bilateral meeting with the United States president to tackle him on the issue, she said: "I did bring the issue of the climate change agreement up with President Trump, I've had a number of conversations with him over the time I have been here at the G20".

The U.K. can not establish a separate trade deal with the US until it has left the European Union in 2019.

Trump also says they are working on a trade deal that will be "great for both countries", but he provided no details.

"I think we'll have that done very, very quickly", Trump said.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday said he expects a "powerful" trade deal with the United Kingdom to be completed "very quickly", the media reported.

Widodo delivered a 'greeting from millions of friends in Indonesia, ' telling Trump that his countrymen were 'only interested in one thing: when we can welcome you to Indonesia'.

Mr Trump's comments are a boost for the prime minister as she uses the G20 to build ties with countries key to the UK's strategy after Brexit.

Japan's new trade deal with the European Union, signed off on Thursday, "could form the basis" of an agreement between London and Tokyo following Brexit, May told the Prime Minister.

U.S. President Donald Trump meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G-20 Summit, Friday, July 7, 2017, in Hamburg. Asked when, he replied: "We'll work that out".

But no date will be set out today for Trump to visit the UK. The US will want to know what access its companies and banks in Britain will have to the rest of the EU.

The leaders agreed to prioritise a trade deal so it could be completed "as soon as possible" after Brexit, British officials said, adding that they would look at how trade links could be strengthened beforehand.

As well as discussions on a possible future trade deal with the US, Mrs May was also expected to raise the President's controversial decision to pull out of the global agreement on tackling climate change.

"I wouldn't actually believe anything actually that the Kremlin is putting out", he said.
