First press render of Samsung's high-end flip phone (SM-W2018) leaked out

First press render of Samsung's high-end flip phone (SM-W2018) leaked out

While Samsung is busy with its Samsung Galaxy S8 phones selling nicely and its upcoming reveal of the Galaxy Note 8, they are also getting ready to reveal another great phone, namely, the Galaxy A7 2018 edition which is all set to launch next year with A7 2018 edition. Due to the need to accommodate the S Pen stylus, the Seoul-based tech giant was reportedly forced to equip the Galaxy Note 8 with a 3,300mAh battery whose capacity is slightly lower compared to the 3,500mAh unit powering the Galaxy S8 Plus, though it remains to be seen how long will the phablet be able to last on a single charge in everyday use.

Recently we have seen the live images of the Galaxy S8 Active (SM-G892A) and now we have got detailed specifications of the handset that have surfaced along with press images.

The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Samsung's in-house Exynos 8895 system-on-chip (SoC), depending on the market, in addition to sporting 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The device has received this certification with the model number SM-N950U.

However, a new leak suggests the release of such a phone may be closer than we think. Though Samsung isn't telling the release date of the phone, it seems as though the company has leaked the date to pre-order the Galaxy Note 8. The documents that were prematurely posted on their website don't actually reveal the pre-order date but the dates on some of their promotional terms may be a good indicator about when the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 will be available for pre-order. As of now, major details about the Note 8 are missing. The Galaxy Note 8 is speculated to house a dedicated Bixby button on the side to launch the voice-controlled assistant.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 series will look nearly like the Galaxy S8 series, but with little adjustment at the bottom to accommodate a stylus. And it was clearly written in the documentation that the name for this model number is Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The device could hit the shelves in early-September, enough ahead of the launching of iPhone 8.
