Taylor Swift Instagram Post Fuels Rumors of a Surprise Album Drop

Taylor Swift Instagram Post Fuels Rumors of a Surprise Album Drop

Swift's Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook accounts resumed activity with one mysterious posting around 11 a.m. ET.

All of Swift's social media accounts went dark Friday with her profile picture and other assets appearing to have been deleted.

"Is she about to slither back into our hearts?"

And Taylor has been rocking star symbols more often this year; Kesha also announced that she was collaborating with a new artist and included 13 star and meteor emojis. Her official website, meanwhile, shows just a blank screen.

Though Swift updated her settings to hide all comments on Instagram, Swifties are losing their minds on Twitter as they count the seconds until they hear a new jam and propose several fan theories.

Days after she went ghost and purged all of her social media accounts, including Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, Swift has returned with a thoroughly freakish video post.

The stunt marks the three-year anniversary of Shake It Off from Taylor's last album, 1989. Is she telling us she has more beef to settle with someone new?

Taylor Swift's mother, Andrea Swift and radio handler, Frank Bell, were found not liable as well. This could be a reference to the snake emoji Swift was spammed with last summer, after a feud with Kim Kardashian.

No solid details are available just yet, but fans can expect that Swift's prospective new album, like her past releases, will probably be about some significant aspects of her life. The music lyrics site Genius posted a link to "Timeless", listing it as being from Swift from the new album "TS6".
