Cop Captures 9-Foot-Long Anaconda With Her Bare Hands: 'Ta

A detective from the Leon County Sheriff's Office in Florida showed vast courage when she rescued a 9-foot-long Yellow Anaconda from the roadside with her bare hands.

Since the video was posted, it has received more than 377K views and over 3,400 shares. Fortunately, she was prepared - she has experience handling exotic snakes. It shows a detective trying to get hold of the snake with a thick branch.

Eventually, the cop lifts up the anaconda with her bare hands and puts it inside a bag. She makes the whole thing look easy but the video seems quite intense.

The Sheriff's Office wrote in the Facebook post, "If you own an exotic pet please be responsible".

Detective Emily Shaw got the call at some point Wednesday, according to the Facebook post.

"Instead, contact Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission". Do not forget to keep cages secure and to contact Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission if you no longer want your pet.

People on Facebook have praised Detective Shaw for her wonderful work.

A police officer and a giant snake faced off in Leon County, Florida, and the officer walked away victorious. They also had a foster family on standby for the anaconda.
