Duke and Duchess of Cambridge expecting child in April

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge expecting child in April

A statement from Kensington Palace said the couple were "delighted" to be welcoming the latest addition to their family.

Earlier today, it was announced that the royal couple will undertake an official visit to Norway and Sweden at the request of the FCO in early 2018, leading many to wonder how pregnant Kate would be during the visit.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge say their third child will be due in April.

Another said: "Thank you for sharing this special news today". The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge has been sick with morning sickness for several weeks now.

We weren't expecting to see her again so soon because Kate has been suffering from extreme morning sickness, like she did with her previous two pregnancies, but less than a week later she's stepped out again-to dance with Paddington Bear. May the rest of her pregnancy progress easily-and quickly, because we can't wait to meet baby number three.

Her appearance at the iconic London train station alongside husband William and brother-in-law Harry came as a surprise to onlookers as they joined cast members from the new Paddington 2 movie at an event involving children from the charities they support.

Fans were convinced last week the duchess is expecting a boy after she wore a blue gown to an event for World Mental Health Day at Buckingham Palace.

Will it be a boy or a girl?

The Duchess also suffered from the same condition through her pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, both of which kept her mostly out of the public eye.

Either way, the new arrival will be fifth in line to throne, bumping uncle Prince Harry down to sixth.

Congrats to William and Kate!
