Meghan Markle and Prince Harrys relationship may have hit another milestone

Meghan Markle and Prince Harrys relationship may have hit another milestone

In a formal introduction at Buckingham Palace, Harry took actress Meghan for tea with the Monarch, which extended into a full hour.

The pair allegedly joined the Queen for her daily afternoon tea, her "favourite part of the day", when she usually sit downs to enjoy a variety of sandwiches and a selection of her favourite cakes.

Meghan was spotted back in Toronto following a brief stint in the United Kingdom, where she was said to have met her boyfriend's grandmother, The Queen, over tea at Buckingham Palace.

As fifth in line to the throne, Harry will have to ask the Queen for permission to marry Meghan.

Friends now say it is only a matter of time before the couple tie the knot.

The trio had tea together and it was thought to have happened last Thursday, which will no doubt prompt royal watchers into thinking an engagement is imminent.

"William and Kate are expecting their third baby mid April, and Harry won't want to overshadow the birth of another prince or princess, and, of course, the Duchess will need some time to recover before she is at such a high-profile event".

We revealed last month how Meghan and Harry travelled to Balmoral Castle in Scotland after a romantic break in Africa. In the most recent news, the couple apparently had a secret tea party with Queen Elizabeth, allowing her and Markle to spend some time together, since she'll have to give Harry, the fifth in line for Britain's royal throne, permission before he can Wednesday. Next month, the Queen and Prince Philip will mark their 70th wedding anniversary; then in December, the royal family will retire to Sandringham for Christmas, meaning that the New Year could be the opportune time for an engagement. It's also unclear what the trio talked about, but one would hope that Queen Elizabeth watches Suits when she unwinds-or perhaps she herself has dreams of lifestyle blogging one day.
