Trump is hitting the links with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson

Trump is hitting the links with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson

President Trump meanwhile, will clock up his 76th round since becoming president on January 20th 2017 in Florida, according to Trumpgolfcount.com. Curiously, he's planning an important talk with the leader of Turkey right after "Turkey Day".

"Will be speaking to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey this morning about bringing peace to the mess that I inherited in the Middle East", he tweeted.

His $6 trillion figure may be a reference to a Wall Street Journal story from earlier this month that reported United States military expenditures in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Pakistan as being $5.6 trillion since 2001.

Trump, who is now at the self-proclaimed "Winter White House", Mar-a-Lago, tweeted on Friday morning that he would be (quickly) playing a round of golf with Woods and current No. 1 golfer, Dustin Johnson.

Trump and Tiger have history. they've golfed together in the past.

Plus, the President's swing has been known to hit some high-profile targets. However, Trump noted that it would be a quick round so he could get back to work on bringing more jobs back to America. "Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn", Trump tweeted.

Trump has already played golf with Woods, Japan's Hideki Matsuyama, Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy and women's world No. 3 Lexi Thompson during his time at the White House.

Woods has spent most of the last year rehabbing from back surgery, and hasn't played a competitive, injury-free year of golf since 2013.

With current world number one Dustin Johnson rounding out the threesome, it's certain to grab some attention and reignite the debate about whether influential golfers should be seen endorsing such a divisive figure. But it was the first-time he has said he was on the greens. While he frequently spends time away from the White House at one of his numerous golf courses, there is sensitivity over claims the President takes up too much time playing, rather than working.

"Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players".
