White House Celebrates Donald Trump For Not Acknowledging Sexual Assault Claims

ABC News reporter Cecilia Vega asked White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders that if an investigation should be launched into the allegations facing Franken, should there also be an investigation regarding the president over claims of "sexual misconduct made by more than a dozen women?".

President Trump plunged into the sex-harassment debate (Should Al Franken resign? etc.) when he tweeted against the Minnesota senator.

Neil Newhouse, who worked as the leading pollster on Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign, said Trump was smart in his use of data to sway lawmakers on his agenda priorities.

Sanders said the president had already addressed the allegations against him during the campaign. Image via "The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words", Trump said Thursday. She shared the now infamous photo of Franken grabbing her breasts while she was asleep. She also dismissed a question about why allegations against Sen. Trump has weighed in on the Moore controversy, she reminded them.

Trump latest remarks on Franken have put him again in the center of a growing national debate that has upended the entertainment industry and thrown the fate of a key Republican Senate seat into doubt.

Watch Sanders's remarks below, via Fox News. "And since then, our press secretary has spoken on behalf of the president by saying that he believes the people of Alabama will sort out what to do with Roy Moore and with that election".

"I would call this strategic polling where - this is going to sound maybe a little crass - they don't really care where all Americans stand on the issue of tax reform, because 35 to 40 percent of Americans are never going to support anything he does", said Newhouse.
