The 50-year-old actress and model Pamela Anderson has recently Megyn Kelly TODAY on Friday where she talked about turning 50, her relationship with the founder of WikiLeaks - Julian Assange and Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Anderson recalled a call from Weinstein, who said, "You're so lucky that I put you in a film".

She added that she is speaking to women as a survivor of abuse, and that women must be proactive in defending themselves.

"Speaking to Megyn Kelly, the former Baywatch star, who has been candid about her own experience of sexual violence as a child and adolescent, said she subsequently avoided unsafe situations by employing some 'common sense".

Anderson mentioned "self-protection courses" in the post, suggesting women learn martial arts. She went on to say that "women [must be] aware of certain problems and how to spot them and fight them. It is totally hypocritical to ignore this". "Especially with my 'image" - she and I were anxious it could give people wrong Impression. We have the power to be safe and free by using common sense. "That certain people or certain producers in Hollywood are people to avoid privately", she said.

Kelly then pointed out that numerous meetings were set up by agents, to which Anderson said that was "not a good excuse".

After having a day to reflect on her comments though, and presumably catch up with all of the negative backlash stemming from them, Anderson has refused to give an apology. Try not to get in autos with outsiders #rideresponsibly-Don't go to Hotel rooms alone for a tryout. If someone answers the door in a bathrobe, leave.

"When I came to Hollywood I had a lot of offers to do private auditions and things that just made absolutely no sense", she said. She's had her own issues with Weinstein in the past and has been pretty candid about the experience, citing that she's had bad boyfriends that never treated her the way that Weinstein did. Backlash is good. - I like this'. "I don't know where this security comes from, but somehow I've dodged it all", she added. And yet, she said, "I'm going to be open-minded to Trump turning over a new leaf and perhaps being more like a president". Things that are common sense.

No one wants to believe them, everyone wants to think that Hollywood is a shining, happy place that runs on dreams and only squashes those that want everything without being willing to work for it.
