Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Spotted on Amazon

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Spotted on Amazon

As IGN points out, the remake of Modern Warfare was announced a full six months before it was released.

A new listing has now appeared on Amazon Italy that suggest that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 might be remastered and perhaps due for an announcement soon.

Given how popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 are, it's just a matter of time before the games get re-released.

We already know that Black Ops 4 will be this year's major Call of Duty release, but as it turns out, it may not be launching alone.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was remastered by Raven Software who completely revamped the look and visuals for the game.

It's little surprise if Activision decides to return for another Call of Duty remaster after the fervent demand for the original Modern Warfare, though you may want to take it with a grain of salt. Activision could very well follow the same approach by bundling Modern Warfare 2 Remastered with Black Ops 4, but then again, Black Ops 4 may not need the same kind of excitement booster that Infinite Warfare did. It will also be interesting to see if there is any censorship in the game in regards to the No Russian mission, since footage of that mission was shown in the recent video game violence meeting held by President Donald Trump. If the game is truly set to launch on April 30 as rumored, then a proper reveal should be coming any day now, so fans should stay tuned for more information.

As spotted by IGN Italia, listings for both Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game have been added to Amazon Italy, with prices of €19.99 (approximately $25 United States dollars / £17 / $31 AUD / R295 ZAR).
