North Korea Denies Aiding Syria with Chemical Weapons

North Korea Denies Aiding Syria with Chemical Weapons

Nevertheless, we can't blame cryptocurrencies for North Korea's illegal actions.

"One should ask the USA leadership rather than me about the probability of a military scenario. As we have stated on numerous occasions, we will consider any type of blockade as an act of war against us, and if the USA has indeed the guts to confront us in any "rough" manner, we will not (hesitate) to respond to it", the representative said.

State media has also hit back at Washington, reiterating the North's long-held assertion that the U.S. used biological and chemical weapons against civilians during the Korean War.

That kind of makes it a flawless platform for countries like North Korea, which are pretty isolated from the worldwide financial system to begin with, to use this new form of commerce that's thus far existed pretty much outside of countries' regulatory control.

Russian Federation has joined North Korea's closest ally, China, in an attempt to mediate the nuclear crisis by instituting a "freeze for freeze" or "double freeze" strategy.

China delayed a U.S. request for a United Nations Security Council committee to blacklist 33 ships, 27 shipping companies, and a Taiwan man for violating worldwide sanctions on North Korea, diplomats said on Friday.

What do you think about North Korea's reportedly using cryptocurrencies to skirt USA economic sanctions?

The statement came days after President Donald Trump said Monday that his administration could enter talks with North Korea, but "only under the right conditions".

Republican senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham said the USA is reportedly considering military action against Kim Jong-un, should Pyongyang build a nuclear missile capable of striking the West.

A Reuters photo taken February 27, 2018, shows Han Tae-song, North Korea's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, speaking at the U.N. -sponsored Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.

Pyongyang is willing to prepare for dialogue in which the two sides "discuss and resolve issues of mutual concern on an equal footing", a Foreign Ministry spokesperson was quoted as saying by the Korean Central News Agency.

Western media outlets have recently cited a confidential United Nations report as alleging that North Korea has been shipping supplies to the Syrian government "that could be used in the production of chemical weapons".

Following the deadliest conflict in the history of mankind, North Korea and South Korea were split by World War II allies the Soviet Union and the 1945. Why is the USA the country that believes they have the authority to determine which countries may possess nuclear weapons?

However, the main opposition Liberty Korea Party said dialogue with the North is meaningless without the premise of denuclearization.
