Kanye West is becoming a thought leader-among far-right Twitter

Kanye West is becoming a thought leader-among far-right Twitter

Toure, a former MSNBC host and writer, ripped West for liking "people with anti-black policies", which Gutfeld said was effectively a "cowardly jab at Owens for daring to speak up".

This weekend, so-called "New Right" media personalities fell in love with rapper Kanye West after he praised Candace Owens, the communications director at the youth-oriented Turning Point USA, who exists as a prominent "New Right" voice in conservative social media circles. He later invited him to the show on Twitter. "I said, 'Kanye, the conversation's been open, bro".

He followed the tweet up with another that said, "only free thinkers" and on Sunday added, "The thought police want to suppress freedom of thought".

Scott Adams, the creator of the "Dilbert" comics, for one.

The Washington Post has branded him a "hero of the pro-Trump Internet, " but some of Kanye's more recent tweets show that he still holds numerous tenets of the Left. "I don't know why people like being oppressed!"

"We have freedom of speech but not freedom of thought", West continued in subsequent posts. Instead, he seems interested in interacting with major thought leaders in the U.S. Before tweeting all of the Adams videos, West also sang praises for Elon Musk and his new Tesla vehicle.

This, of course, is a classic alt-right response to criticism-the fact that other people make fun of me or take me to task for dumb opinions means I'm being censored! "And if you want to see these control-freak vampires really go insane, please join me on my broadcast!"

"I can guarantee you, what you're seeing happening is victim mentality versus victor mentality!" "I love Donald Trump", Kanye reportedly told the host, despite his additional claims that he just wants to "lead with love". "Kanye West, quote, 'I love Donald Trump..."

He also tweeted the hashtag #2024 that day, seemingly suggesting he wouldn't run for the Oval Office himself until then.

Watch Darden recall the entire phone chat in the video below. The Trump comments begin at the 6.51 mark.
