Xiaomi unveils 15.6-inch Mi Gaming Laptop

Now today, the company has launched one more smart TV, called Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55-inch. The variant comes with a 50-inch display and will be available for the Chinese consumers.

When it comes to specifications, the MI TV 4S sports a 55-inch (3840x2160 pixels) 4K display. Pre-registrations have begun and sale will begin on April 3, 2018.

The 55-inch 4K UHD panel offers a viewing angle of 178-degree, a refresh rate of 60Hz and all of this is built into a sleek metal frame. It has a dynamic response of 9.5 milliseconds and comes with direct type backlight. The smart TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 processor with clock speed of up to 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. In terms of I/O, the Mi TV 4S 55-inch features three HDMI 2.0 ports with ARC (audio return channel), one optical audio input port, one RF cable input for cable TV signals, one ethernet port, two USB ports, and one S-PDIF port. For audio, the TV boasts of two 8W speakers with Dolby and DTS enhancements. It is run on Android-based PatchWall UI and has an AI voice-assistant for easy access. PatchWall, because it is AI-driven, comes with the ability to learn a user's viewing habits and then accordingly it suggests content based on their preferences. PatchWall is based on "deep learning AI that references metadata to make intelligent content recommendations tailored to you", according to Xiaomi which means it's always learning and evolving.

Also, the Mi TV4S supports voice control, and the accompanying TV remote can respond to voice.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55-inch is priced at 2999 yuan (Rs. 31,020 approx.) in China. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4S, a 55-inch smart TV, and an upgraded version of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4A/4C that is now on sale in China and India. It comes with 750MHz Mali 450 GPU and offers storage of 8GB. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of flash storage.

In order to keep an affordable price for this model, Xiaomi decided integrate Intel's Kaby Lake Core i7-7700HQ CPU, which is standard on most gaming laptops nowadays, so this can hardly be considered "wild".
