Lukaku and Hazard score two each as Belgium rout Tunisia 5-2

It looks a simple task for Belgium on paper - but this World Cup isn't going to the script.

Belgium against Tunisia was full of stats. There were no 0-0 draws in the 1954 tournament, which included 16 teams and a total of 26 games.

Lukaku, who also had a brace against Panama on Monday, has scored 17 goals in his last 11 worldwide games, Hazard scored his first two World Cup goals with a penalty in the opening minutes and Michy Batshuayi capped off the scoring late.

That was before Hazard added a second, his Blues teammate Michy Batshuayi came off the bench to get on the scoresheet and Wahbi Khazri netted another consolation for Tunisia.

Chelsea forward Hazard, who was named the man of the match, said: "I think the match was easy because we scored after five minutes and we knew Tunisia needed to win and would leave spaces and would be open".

Lukaku has now scored four goals at this summer's World Cup.

Tunisia responded two minutes later, Bronn leaping highest to head home a free-kick from his skipper Khazri on 18 minutes, only to be later carried off after landing awkwardly following a collision.

A point from Belgium's last game against England on Thursday in Kaliningrad will ensure a place in the round of 16.

The second round of group games have served up some real treats, with Belgium and Tunisia involved in a real entertaining clash in Moscow. Martinez has kept faith with a defensive line of three, with Dedryck Boyata in the centre flanked by Tottenham Hotspur pair Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

Belgium's manger said Lukaku had damaged an "external ankle ligament".

Lukaku's absence would be a blow to Belgium's hopes against England, with top spot in the group likely to be up for grabs.

For Tunisia, Farouk Ben Mustapha starts in goal after playing most of the 2-1 loss to England following Mouez Hassan's shoulder injury.
