Demi Lovato 'Agrees To Rehab' After Family Plea

The Cool for the Summer singer was hospitalized on July 24, after being found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home, and it is thought she will be released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles later this week. Her personal assistant reportedly screamed out, "She's dead!"

Demi Lovato has agreed to go to rehab, TMZ reports.

"The bodyguard rushed to Demi's side and it appeared she was not breathing. There was blood on her pillow. and her airways may have been clogged", according to TMZ. Paramedics later arrived and administered Narcan, a drug that counters the affects of opioids.

And since her hospitalization, there's been reports that Demi has been suffering complications, so hopefully this new information means that Demi is finally on the mend and on the road to recovery.

"Demi is getting better day-by-day with the help of her family, friends and Wilmer", a source told ET at the time.

The pop star is now in the hospital, recovering from a drug overdose she suffered last week, and subsequent complications. The bodyguard, assistant and other members of her team were aware she was no longer sober. Demi has told the people close to her that she is serious about her sobriety, and plans to do whatever it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle moving forward'.
