MiFi arrives far in advance of Christmas

Though it was announced over eight months ago MiFi has just this week begun to appear in advertisements around the UK. The premier promoter of these amazing little wireless routers is the 3 network.
Due to incredibly increased demand for completely mobile Internet, 3 has decided to unveil its latest technology offering someone ahead of its planned Christmas 2009 promotion.
As yet pricing has not been announced but if comparison is made with the MiFi product offered elsewhere in the world, cost should be approximately thus. The device itself presently offered by Novatel should cost in the neighborhood of 150 pounds. This is the price for outright purchase without the activation of a new contract. With a two-year activation one can expect the cost to drop to half.
The charges per month for unlimited usage will probably begin at 40 pounds. When one considers that the MiFi mobile wireless router can accommodate up to five users at once the relative costs may well be low enough to challenge the price of conventional in home broadband.
