A list of Home Phone and Broadband options

Consumer choices network website Home Phone Choices has recently compiled a comprehensive list of all the best deals for home phone service in the United Kingdom.
In looking over the base price comparisons found at homephonechoices.co.uk it becomes apparent that a prerequisite for the great home phone deal is subscription to an unlimited calls agreement. Without such agreement one is liable to be paying between five and eight pence per minute for in the area calls. The disparity as found by Home Phone Choices shows that while companies such as Primus promote themselves free use of three evening and weekend calls incentives the wiser option is probably the purchase of an unlimited calling plan such as those offered by Virgin media and British Telecom.
Further examination shows us that even greater savings can be created by the bundling together of home phone and broadband services. When purchased from two companies such as Talk Talk or Virgin media bundled prices for both of the services as compared to a new phone line purchased separately to a callplan are approximately half.
This savings results in a price decrease over the term of the year equal to that of receiving a free line rental.
This last point is of particular interest as the set price for use of a BT landline has long been a major area of contention in considering home phone prices of various Landline providers
